Copyright Policy

Use the copyright report form. It is open to anyone — you do not need a TASTEMKRS account to submit a notice.

Submit a copyright report

• Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
• The TASTEMKRS link to the specific track, video or profile at issue.
• Your name, contact email and, if you act for someone else, the rights holder you represent.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised.
• A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
• Your electronic signature (typing your full legal name).

• We record your notice and review it. Matches are treated as “review rights”, not as proof of infringement.
• If we act, the content is made unavailable to the public. It is not deleted from storage during review, so it can be restored.
• We notify the uploader with the reason and tell them how to counter-notify.
• You receive the outcome at the email address on the notice.

If your content was disabled and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you can submit a counter-notification using the same form — choose “counter-notification” as the report type and include the link to the disabled content and your explanation.

A counter-notification must include your name, contact details, an electronic signature, and a statement made in good faith that the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification. We forward the substance of a counter-notification to the original reporter. If they do not pursue the matter, we may restore the content.

Knowingly submitting a false notice or counter-notification is a serious matter and may expose you to liability. We may refuse to process notices from parties who repeatedly abuse the process.

Accounts with repeated valid copyright notices may be suspended or terminated, and pending uploads refused.
